Dr RADHAKRISHNA
Dr. RADHAKRISHNA graduated from Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Sciences, Tumkur, in 2005, following which he completed his internship at the Government Hospital, Tumkur, gaining foundational experience in patient care and the public healthcare system.
Developing a keen interest in surgical specialties, he joined the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Hubli, in 2007 to pursue a Diploma in Orthopaedic Surgery. During his training at KIMS, he was exposed to core orthopaedic surgical principles and trauma management.
Driven by a growing passion for paediatric orthopaedic disorders, deformity correction, and hand disorders, Dr. Radhakrishna went on to join Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore in 2010 as a DNB Resident. At Ganga Hospital, he gained extensive hands-on experience in managing complex orthopaedic trauma cases, spinal disorders, paediatric orthopaedic conditions, and joint replacement surgeries.
Following his DNB training, Dr. Radhakrishna joined Rex Ortho Care, Coimbatore in 2012, gaining intensive experience at one of the region’s busiest orthopaedic hospitals.
Driven by a passion for treating complex musculoskeletal conditions in children, he joined the prestigious Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore in 2013 for specialized training in Paediatric Orthopaedics.
Specialized Fellowship at CMC Vellore
Dr. Radhakrishna trained for three years under Prof. Vrisha Madhuri, a renowned pioneer in Indian paediatric orthopaedics. At CMC Vellore’s specialized Paediatric Orthopaedic Unit, he managed complex cases requiring dynamic, growth-aware surgical decision-making tailored specifically to developing skeletal structures in children.
